Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli became the first ever crickter to score the 500 plus runs in five different seasons of IPL. Before 2018 season of IPL, Kohli had scored 500 plus runs in 2011 (557 runs), In 2013 (634 runs) and 2015 (505 runs).
Kohli in 2016 scored 973 runs which is the highest runs scored by batsman in the single season of IPL. In which he scored four hundred in the same season.
Now in the 2018 edition of IPL Kohli achieved the feat during his knock of 48* (28 balls) against the Kings IX Punjab. However in 2018 IPL season Kohli scored 530 runs in 14 matches he played.
MS Dhoni sets record for most catches by a wicket keeper in T20 matches.
Dhoni playing in his 291st T20, He surpassed former Sri Lanka wicket keeper Kumar Sangakara’s record of 142 catches.
Kumar Sangakara was first in the list for his 142 catches in 264 T20 matches. But Chennai Super King’s captain MS Dhoni has set the record for most catches by wicket keeper, tacking his count to 144 catches against the Kings IX Punjab.
Also in this year 2018, Dhoni had become the third wicket keeper to take 600 international catches.
